Group Compliance Officer

We are now looking for a strategic and proactive Group Compliance Officer (GCO) who wants to take full responsibility for our compliance efforts across the group – with a particular focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and regulatory requirements related to the outsourcing of finance, payroll, and IT services.
About the Role
Your responsibility is to ensure group-wide adherence to relevant laws and regulations – with AML as a high priority – and serve as a central link between local units, group management, and regulatory authorities. The role includes strategic, coordinating, and operational responsibilities at group level, contributing to a strong, unified, and business-oriented compliance culture.
As Group Compliance Officer based in Sweden, you will ultimately also be responsible for compliance in Sweden.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
- Lead and further develop the group’s compliance program – with AML as high priority
- Ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including AML, GDPR, tax, and accounting standards
- Act as the main point of contact for Swedish and international regulatory authorities
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide proactive advice to senior management
- Lead and coordinate local Compliance Officers across the group’s countries
- Ensure local regulations are followed without compromising group-wide compliance principles
- Establish structures for unified reporting, training, and knowledge sharing
Risk Management & Internal Control
- Establish a risk-based monitoring system for compliance
- Conduct internal risk assessments and audits
- Develop policies, procedures, and controls that support a sustainable and compliant business
Training & Culture
- Drive group-wide compliance training initiatives, with an emphasis on AML
- Promote a strong culture of business ethics, accountability, and integrity
Reporting & Governance
- Provide regular group reports to the CEO, group management, and the VIEW Group board of directors
- Actively participate in the VIEW Group board risk committee.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Has
- A university degree in law, finance, or a related field
- 7–10+ years of experience in compliance, preferably in an international context
- Deep expertise in AML and solid knowledge of frameworks such as GDPR, IFRS, and AMLD
- Experience managing and coordinating compliance functions across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong digital literacy and hands-on experience with compliance and risk tools
- Fluent in english and swedish, both spoken and written
